Regional Management. Additional Projects. England and Wales.
Mi Concepts' Technical Director was Gerard Wackrow acted as regional manager for SSE between 2006 - 2009. During this time he successfully delivered the following projects alongside his regular responsibilities of managing 22 line managers, and 500 operational staff. Gerard brings his wide range of skills to our team, by no means limited to the following:
- The successful design and IT development of an in-house web-based helpdesk system for 17,000 staff. This includes IT support, and full implementation of the system, which cost £2,500 and saves SSE £200,000 per year.
- The installation of five innovative catering establishments across England and Wales, within three months. These ‘Kafes’ and ‘Kanteens’ set the benchmark and model for design due to the innovative use of space. They attracted huge interest from corporate and retail catering companies.
- The design, development and implementation of web-based “Site Landlord’s Handbook” for 526 sites and depots. This proved an essential management tool for site/depot managers in maintaining the facilities/environment.
- Multi site re-stacks of up to 3,500 staff across multiple units and buildings.
